We were given a really warm welcome by the receptionist after a long journey. As part of the booking process, my hubby & I requested a room with a 'walk-in' shower as I'm mobility impaired, but received a message to say that this may not be possible. However, we were allocated room 1, which is a twin with a shower room, not a wet room. But for me personally it was perfect, and the twin beds had been made into a superking which we really appreciated and was really comfy. We had a fabulous cooked & continental style breakfast, which was a perfect start to the day. All staff we came into contact with were polite, friendly & professional. The location is perfect as a stopover on our way from Shropshire to North of Inverness, hotel located not far off the motorway.

We upgraded to a superior room. This was spacious, very clean and tidy. The bed was huge and super comfy with super comfy pillows as well. Lovely tea/coffee tray with the added touch of biscuits and Tunnocks caramel wafers. Our room was on the ground floor to the front of the building but no noise from the traffic at all. Staff were polite, helpful, welcoming and very professional.

Cannot Fault this Hotel. We've just had our 1st Grandbaby, 2 days old, and needed to come up from Hull to meet him and wanted to bring our own fur baby. No problem and only £10 per night extra for her to stay and she was allowed in the Restaurant/Bar with us. Gorgeous Building. Receptionist was so friendly Just a lovely experience. We will definitely be back Thank you x

Restaurant was full (we did not make a reservation in advance), but we were able to order food which was brought to our room. Parking was convenient for accessing the building, although you do have to negotiate a few stairs.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all lovely, especially sigma (hope I've spelt that correctly) she was so lovely to talk too. Unfortunately my father is dying and we came home for a last trip so thank you.
