I brought my friend for a lunch and an overnight stay for her 80th birthday. Wonderful attention, excellent food and service, professional yet friendly staff. Made it a most memorable occasion for my friend. Beautiful decor and singing with birthday cake! Honestly, cant thank everyone enough. Theyre ALL amazing. Ill be back for sure. I need a rest tho. The 80th meal and a few glasses of fizz went on til midnight. Great fun Ill book up for my friends 85th. She lived it so so much. She hadnt been very well recently and had lost weight and her appetite. Well. She loved your roast beef dinner So much Most shes eaten in months and enjoyed cake and custard ! Keep up the good work Best wishes

For location in Motherwell this is excellent. our room was lovely, very comfortable bed and pillows, great shower. Elaine at breakfast was far too cheerful for that hour of the day (ha ha ha) we were there for 4 breakfasts, on our second day she remembered what we had the previous day, asked if we wanted the same again and nothing was too much trouble. You can order your breakfast the night before with the time you want to eat. amazing choice, basically a full 'Scottish' or continental, fresh juices, cereals and croissants. we ate in the hotel 2 nights and the food was again delicious. Hubby says the steak pie was the best he'd ever had!

To whom it may concern, That was one of the best experiences of the last five years, taking into count that it was a short stay. I could write with confidence that places like Radisson Blue, Caledonian, Como by Metropoliten and so on, with their overcomplicated standards, have nothing more to offer. The little hidden victorian building, within walking distance of Motherwell train station, the comfortable bar sits, and friendly employees who are keen on having an informal conversation with the guest, make me wish to return for longer. All of that for less than 200£ per night-it does worth every single penny.

We stayed in this hotel for an event in Glasgow. The hotel was a lovely old style mansion house and the location was ideal for the train station and a short walk from the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room had tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer and even a trouser press, not that we needed that. We didn't use the restaurant but we looked in and it looked nice with an outdoor seating area to relax. Would recommend and we have already booked to return for another Glasgow event.

Everything. There were excellent choices for breakfast, and dinner. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, staff were extremely friendly, chatty and helpfull. It was extremely good to reminice with the staff from Jerviston and Newarthill as I'm Motherwell (North Motherwell, Jerviston and Knowtop) born and bread though left the 'Well in 1979!!! All together a very pleasent experince, as always. We would like to thank Elaine, Ian, Chris and Graham, names we remembered. Plus the other members of staff and I'm sorry not to have got their names.
